Agriturismo Castello di Vezio on Lake Como, Italy

Lake Como is a much beloved vacation destination in the Lombardy region of Northern Italy. George Clooney has a house there, and American travel guide extraordinaire Rick Steeves highly recommends it. The lake is nestled in the foothills of the Alps, surrounded by a network of charming villages. Even with all the hype, we were blown away by the beauty of it. Our agriturismo was about a 20 minute walk up the hill above the town of Varenna, by Castello Vezio. Many of the lake towns are connected by ferry boat. Driving through the myriad of impressive tunnels to get there was fun too!

And so are the grounds! Bosco had a great time running around
